Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on approach, whose origins come from the practice of Osteopathy. The craniosacral rhythm is the internal manifestation of the health and vitality of the human body and is directly connected with the function of homeostasis (state of physiological balance). It also recognizes the interconnection between mind and body (psychosomatic)- traumatic life events can manifest either on a physical or an emotional level, a disease, dysfunction, or poor healing.

By exploring its basic elements and biomechanics, we will find ways to release the tensions and work with the imbalances that obstruct these natural subtle motions. Craniosacral Therapy can facilitate, support, and optimize the innate propensity of the body to balance, restore, and heal itself.

During these 5 days, we will focus on the Craniosacral rhythm by learning the secrets of this magical force, which we will feel thumping through palpation and blend with our knowledge of Thai Yoga massage.

Our goal is to learn how to tune into the subtle motions that are taking place, to integrate them in between our techniques, thus providing the space and encouraging its natural expression on our mat, from the perspective of the biodynamic intervention.

The course is addressed to Thai massage and similar types of bodywork practitioners, as well as individuals who are interested in the Craniosacral rhythm.
