Some nutritious information:
Flaxseed is for many the king of “superfoods”. Coming from Babylonia as early as 3000 BC it has been cultivated and used throughout the centuries in many ways and forms. Just one tablespoon provides a good amount of protein, fiber and omega – 3 fatty acids, in addition to being a rich source of some vitamins and minerals. This tiny seed, due to its valuable ingredients can reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, stroke, or diabetes.
For this recipe we suggest you to use a dehydrator. By dehydrating we allow the valuable enzymes and nutrients to stay in their natural form and offer us energy, easier digestion and assimilation.
You will need:
2 water glasses of flaxseed (make it almost powder)
1/2 water glass of sunflower seed (you can use it as it is or blend it a little)
1 medium tomato (blended)
2 red long peppers (blended)
1 & 1/2 glass of water
1 small spoon of sea salt
1 small spoon of turmeric
pepper
4 spoons of nutritional yeast (optional)
Method:
We mix all the ingredients in a bowl and we allow them to rest for 15 minutes. Then we apply the mixture on the dehydrator shelves and with a spatula, we cut it in squares. We dehydrate for about 12 hours and we have a healthy snack for the whole
