Yin Yoga Teacher Training Module 3 with Biff
1st – 6th October 2019
Yin Yoga and Storytelling
Storytelling is the most ancient of the healing arts. The way of the storyteller is about more than just telling stories. At its core, it is a way of seeing and interacting with the world through the stories that are constantly unfolding inside and around us.
Classic teaching stories remind us that our lives ebb and flow; always moving between our youth stories, that teach us to triumph; our mid-life stories, that help us to transform, and our elder stories that remind us that eventually triumph and transformation must give way to transcendence and acceptance.
The storyteller makes sense of the world by listening.
In these Storytelling workshops we explore the path of the storyteller. Through classic stories we will look at how our own life stories can become our teaching stories, and how as teachers, parents and humans, storytelling helps us share the truth of our own experience.
As part of unfolding our stories, we will use Yin Yoga, body meditations and sacred sound to look within our own bodies at the places where we so often hold our deepest truths.
This training is a stand-alone training, and is open to anyone who has taken Level 1 or Level 2 Yin Yoga Teacher Training as well as any dedicated yoga students or teachers who are interested in deepening their practice.
You don’t need to be a teacher or even experienced in Yin, just come with an open heart and a willing mind.
You will receive a certificate of completion in a 50 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training.
For more info about the training, visit Biff’s website.
