Yin Yoga & Meditation Retreat with Betty & Biff

29th September – 4th October 2020

Betty will be facilitating this course. Biff Mithoefer will be joining us online every evening sharing with us stories of wisdom.

Together we will share Practices of Self Growth, Practices of Love & Kindness: Yin Yoga, Meditation, Chi Qong, Yoga Nidra.

Our intention is to offer a quiet course that can softly assist a need to align with the energy of the season. To align with Nature.

Autumn is the time of the Μetal Element, and in our body is represented by our lungs and large intestine.

Sunshine House will provide us with the appropriate organic food and juices, to assist us to get into an Autumn detoxing mood on a physical, energetic and emotional level.

There will be a limited amount of students in this Autumn course.

“In the autumn we learn more about ourselves, perhaps more than any other season. Autumn marks the end of the growing season, a turning inward. Every goodbye has a sense of loss, so melancholy, sadness are natural emotions that manifest in the autumn season.

The season of Autumn is the time of the teacher archetype. It lies to the west, the direction of the setting sun and invites us to look closely at what we are holding onto, asking us to let go of those things, those stories that are no longer serving us. The end of each day, the beauty of the setting sun, helps us remember that it is the dusk that opens the world to the new rising sun and all the possibilities that it brings.”

The retreat will be counted as part of the 200 Hour Jamtse School of Yin Yoga Certificate, for students who have completed (or will complete in the future) 3 Yin Yoga Modules with Biff Mithoefer.
