Trauma, Identity and Freedom Retreat with Ralf

6th – 11th June 2023

Healing Layers of Contraction in Body and Mind to Remember our Deepest Nature

This 5-day retreat will be a profound personal journey, exploring and uncovering the essence of who you most essentially and authentically are. We will go deeply into how trauma obscures our perception of ourselves and the world, and free up our authentic life force in the process. This retreat will also contain invaluable information for those of you who want to work with and support other people at the root level of their symptoms.

Wisdom teachings have taught us for thousands of years that the root cause of our suffering lies on the level of our identity: who we take ourselves to be, as opposed to who we actually are. Underneath the conditioned and trauma-based layers of painful thoughts, beliefs and emotions that most of us identify with lies our True Self, radiant and free.

This retreat will aim at uncovering this dimension in us and shifting our sense of identity from contraction toward freedom. For this, we will combine the best of both cutting-edge trauma therapy and potent meditative and inquiry practices.
We will be enquiring into, exposing, and gradually freeing ourselves from layers of accumulated identifications (ways how we have grown up thinking and feeling about ourselves, others and the world). As we free ourselves from the grip of trauma-based thinking and feeling, we begin to wake up to our true nature of freedom and love. This dimension is what every heart most deeply longs for.

We will be using individual and partner exercises, guided meditations and inquiries, group discussions, teaching sections about the interplay between trauma and identity, times for reflection and times for sharing, and also lots of movement, fun and connection…all held in a heartfelt and safe environment designed for deep transformation.

The course is held in English.
