12th-13th December 2023

Day 1:

Introduction to the sacred dance

In this class, we will dedicate our intentions and presence to the art of mindful touch. We will apply the dance into a beautiful sequence which we call Savasana (Hanuman Dance.) We will energize the Chakras and unblock the energy channels in the body. We will learn a beautiful 45 minute sequence that will help to energize and relax the physical, mental, and emotional body, uplifting our spirits and creating connection and community.
This specific sequence is designed to help people with depression, chronic fatigue, and stress. This course is especially designed for Yoga teachers that want to have more depth and understanding of how to touch the human body in Savasana. As well as participants that want to know the sacredness of the human body. We will also have a short, guided, meditation, which will help us initiate us into the art of mindfulness and understanding the healing effects of meditation.

Day 2:

Empowering the Core
In this course, we will explore the therapeutic aspect of Thai Yoga Massage. We will infuse the wisdom of Taoism and Osteopathic principles of how to direct our intentions into the topic of lower back pain. We will palpate and come to know certain muscles known as “the trouble makers” that create lower back pain. We will learn how to stretch them and release tension out of them. Muscles such as:
Quadratus Lumborum
We will have a short introduction into the element of water and specifically focus on how to keep our kidneys (our batteries) in a good shape, by learning a few of the important Marma points that vitalize and strengthen the kidneys.
