Morning Chanting Lyrics

Every morning in Sunshine House we wake up with the gong and then start the day with some Pali/Sanskrit Buddhist chanting and some silent meditation. The chanting that we do is based on the chanting that was shared with us by Asokananda. Here below you will find the words and translations to those chantings so that you can learn them and sing along to the audio in your own home. We also sing some mantras, based on the Hindu tradition, prayers for certain Gods like Ganesha or Krishna. Basically there is no dogma attached to these chantings and mantras, it is simply a way of offering prayers and precepts to remind us of our connection to God and to help us stay in alignment with noble qualities of our human existence. We hope that you enjoy singing with us.
