Introduction to Loving Touch & Embracing the Water with Krishnataki in FRANKFURT
16th – 17th December 2023

Introduction to loving touch
This course will open the doors to feeling what loving, mindful touch means. It will be an initiation for beginners and a deepening reminder for advanced practitioners. We will approach Thai Yoga Massage with the understanding that both prayer and meditation are what brings us into the present moment to offer the gift of loving touch.
During the weekend we will gather together to connect and unpeel our own layers for self-healing because as with all healing modalities, the awareness and connection to ourselves are what bring us into greater understanding and compassion for others.
We will explore the different elemental qualities of touch – earth touch, fire touch, air touch, and water touch using a combination of techniques from osteopathy and Thai massage fused with the approach of traditional Chinese medicine.
As we will be approaching Winter we will focus in particular on the essence of the water element. The water element is the source of life, which brings about creation and magic and is deeply connected to our ancestors and where we are coming from before birth. It stores our ‘jing’ (prana, chi, energy force) and is the battery containing our life force, and is connected to the kidneys, bladder, reproductive organs, and bones.
The work we will do this weekend will be related with the spinal column, in particular, the lower back area and abdomen to help restore and rebalance our water element so that we are able to offer this touch during the Winter months to help others regain balance during this season. The water element is related with Winter and the essence of hibernation and resting and learning to take care of our kidney energy during this time of year is vital for our energy levels all year round.
Let’s dive into this sacred healing practice together so that we may start the healing from deep within.
