Hands-Free Thai Massage with Krishnataki in JAPAN

1st – 6th April 2024

Learn to use powerful tools other than the palms.

For therapists, it is crucial to rest the hands and wrists, develop the ability to generate power without unnecessary force when dealing with clients of varying body sizes, enhance grounding capabilities, and maintain one’s own axis for comfortable treatment.

In that gathering of ours, we will focus on the legs, learn techniques using various parts of the body such as knees and arms, and open doors to new possibilities!

Through this course, therapists will learn about their own balance, stability, and centering. From there, they will develop a sense of connection with the earth and a grounded feeling, providing support.

By mastering the use of the body in this way, the meridians from the feet open up, enhancing sensitivity in daily activities such as walking, standing, dancing, running, and climbing.

Technically, you will learn static and dynamic approaches in each position, incorporating practices like Qigong to strengthen the connection with the earth and apply them to your skills.

We will practice “hands-free” massage in class and will chant, meditate, and practice Qigong (participation is optional).
