Yoga Retreat with Jana and Steffi

14th – 21st May 2019

An intensive and extended yoga practice is the focus of the course, while enjoying the sunshine and the Sunshine House community. Spring is a great month for renewal of ideas and plans and for enjoying the upward Springtime energy as sprouts germinate and seeds push outwards.

These days will be much more than just a holiday because the regular yoga practice will help to strengthen and regenerate your body and calm your mind. The course will help you to learn something more about yourself so that you will be able to perceive your body more consciously. The community spirit of feeling supported and held helps us all to appreciate the little things in life and let go.

We will do yoga together twice a day (morning and evening) and we will start the day with meditation. In between you can spend your free time by the sea, enjoying a bike ride, receiving a massage or simply relaxing in the hammock.  We will also have the opportunity to hit the herbal steam bath to sweat and detoxify together. There are often shuttles to the beach or the hot springs.

Jana Schulze

In the Spreewald, Jana’s story starts in 1978. After several years in the hectic and fast-moving advertising industry and business administration studies, in 2015 she decided to turn hobby and passion into a career, to redesign her life and to give her a deeper meaning. During a one-year stay in Costa Rica in 2009, Jana first came into intensive contact with yoga.

The feeling of being able to feel and control every muscle intensively, as well as the experience of being completely with oneself, brought them to regular yoga practice. A dramatic experience brought her in 2012 to the meditation of Osho. Searching for herself, seeking support and asking herself the meaning of life, she gradually found reassurance and balance.

Stefanie Bittner

Growing up in Dessau and on Rügen, Stefanie moved to Berlin in 2005, which quickly felt like home. After studying business administration and business education, the big question was about the vocation and how she was able to bring her talents and passions into the job. After many years of yoga practice, from 2010 she not only completed yoga teacher training, but also many further education courses from pregnancy yoga, mummy yoga, children’s yoga and business yoga to yin yoga and meditation.

Today, Stefanie lives her vocation: her yoga represents a modern, holistic and powerful practice that harmonises the body, mind and soul. Her yoga classes ground and bring relaxation, yet they challenge physically and bring energy for everyday life.
