Therapeutic Thai and Osteo Retreat with Patrick Tanner

26th June – 1st July 2018

This course focuses on Thai and Osteo techniques for mobilising the thorax to improve the circulatory system. This includes the ribcage, diaphragm, heart, lungs and circulatory system.

The mobility of the thorax is vital to the function of the diaphragm, the lungs, the heart and its circulation. Immobility leads to tension of the fascia in the thorax. This affects the mobility of the heart and can lead to stagnation of the blood flow.

The blood supply to the organs and cells is very important. In Osteopathy a lot of attention is paid to a free blood supply. If restricted, it can cause many problems and is the cause of many diseases.

Our aim is to provide good blood flow throughout the body. We mobilise the ribcage and diaphragm with techniques from Thaimassage and osteopathy. The techniques we learn in this workshop can be well integrated in your existing Thaimassage routines.

We discuss diagnostic tools for trouble areas to improve your treatment-plan. Participants can easily integrate the newly learned techniques into their existing routines.

Course prerequisites: The course is open for all Thai massage therapists, who have finished a 10-day basic course in traditional Thai massage (doesn’t matter which school or teacher)

The course is held in English.
