Basic Thai Massage and the Yin with Betty
6th- 14th October 2018
In this training, we will explore the Thai Yoga Massage techniques and principles, share different theories around therapy, dive deeper into love and kindness, learn more about the discoveries of modern science and cultivate tools that will help you enter and establish yourself into the Thai Massage world.
In Thai Yoga Massage, what is important is the experience. We cannot share what we don’t have. We need to cultivate our internal qualities to share them with another, learn and grow. In this training, together with the Thai Massage techniques, we will share many simple and playful practices to deepen our internal experience and approach Thai Massage with a more open, full, clear and strong Heart.
This way, Thai Yoga Massage becomes a Medicine of Love.
- Rhythm and the connection with the elements, pulsation and the “Thai dance” Moving with safety and enjoying every movement “Listening” into silence
- The “love touch.”
- Fascia work.
- Two essential aspects we come across in our life and our work: Therapy and Trauma. We will approach them through science and psychology.
- Love and kindness and how to apply these qualities in our massage and our everyday life.
- Yin Yoga.
- The Yin practice of non-striving and how it influences our own bodies, our massage approach and our lives.
- Meridians, the 5 Elements.
- Understanding of our own natural pattern (li) and how it can affect our work
