Basic thai massage and Yin Yoga with Betty

10th- 19th of November

Thai Massage  and Yin Yoga

bettyh 2

In this ten days course we will embrace the yin healing energies and yin yoga, and use them as tools to help us explore more deeply the practice of Thai Massage. These two Healing arts have many things in common; they can complement and empower one another.
The seminar is suitable for beginners and more advanced practitioners of Massage, Healing Arts and Body Work and Yoga..

About the seminar..

Learn to be a qualified and certified Thai Massage practitioner, enter the sacred mysticism of the Yin Yoga world and be part of a journey that will help you unfold your Soul Medicine.
Day by day we will demonstrate the Basic Thai Massage principles and techniques from an anatomical, physical and energetical point of view.
Together we will explore the rhythm of the sacred Thai dance. Find safety and joy as we place ourselves around the body of another. Feel the rhythm and the pulse of a body, as we palm its muscles, lubricate and unlock the joints or as we “listen” in to stillness. Cultivate the gentleness of the “love touch”, in order to approach with respect Energy Lines and Meridians.
We will explore the basic principles of static and dynamic Thai Massage. It is an ancient art that contains teachings and wisdom of a whole lineage. It is an honor to continue the work and add my fragrance.

We will approach healing in different ways and understand more about “trauma”. Explore fascia, do energy work, get in touch with the energy body, cultivate mindfulness.
In Yin Yoga we gently hold a pose for a longer than usual period of time, cultivating the attitude of acceptance. Like in Thai Massage, the body becomes a means through which we can find access into deeper layers of our energy and emotional body.
I will guide you through the ceremonial simplicity of Yin Yoga, help you understand the basic principles of this practice, as a student and as a teacher.
We will become more familiar with ancient sacred teachings of Buddhism, teachings that align with the end of suffering, detachment, compassion, love and kindness. We will come closer to our nature using the simplicity of indignant teachings.
We will play music, sing and dance, honoring our soul vibration.
We will share Yoga, Chi Kong and Meditation to flow, open and remain centered.
We will be living in communion and empower each other. Sometimes this is more than enough to trigger personal growth.
Day by day as the energies that nourish the two practices will unite in sacred communion, we will experience a deep and intensive course, and walk our own sacred journey.
All this work will be facilitated by fellow assistants who have been dedicated to this work for years and who bring their own color and enrich the whole experience.
